We are excited to announce that Zimperium raised $12M in Series B Funding. This is a major milestone for Zimperium and is a testament to the quality of the Z-Team, the products we develop and the customers we have in place successfully using Zimperium’s Mobile Threat Defense.
2014 was a year of building for Zimperium. We launched the world’s first enterprise mobile security system that delivers unmatched threat detection, protection and mitigation of threats for iOS and Android devices. We were able to build the company’s foundation, hire an Executive team, expand our sales team and establish a footprint of customers that confirmed our belief in the need for on-device security that stops cyberattacks in their tracks – before they can damage your business.
Today, we are proud to say that Zimperium is the true leader in mobile threat defense. We have the support of our customer, Telstra, Australia’s largest telecommunications and information services company leading the round. It is amazing that a customer witnessed so much value from our product that they decided to join us and invest in our mutual success.
We welcome TOYO Corporation, a new investor and Zimperium’s distributor in Japan to the Z-Family. And we are grateful for the continued support from existing investors Sierra Ventures and Samsung.
This latest funding validates the work we’ve done for our customers and, combined with our continued innovation and momentum, will help propel Zimperium forward into 2015. The new funding will support Zimperium’s ongoing expansion and continued innovation in the fight against cybercrime. We look forward to scaling our operations to support our rapidly growing customer base.
Attacks are seemingly coming from all angles and businesses are being breached at an increasing pace. Traditional signature-based defenses can’t hold up to the new breed of attacks and with the increasing use of mobile, there needs to be a huge shift in how companies think about security.
We are ready to change the way organizations around the globe view their mobile security needs. For more information, read our press release.
